How are you liking our covers so far? Today we’ll show you something different–a darker story, almost borderline horror. It’s only right, given the day. Keith Melton describes 9mm Blues as an urban fantasy thriller, and it’s certainly a goulish ride. And the terrific cover by the Irish fantasy artist, Eithne Ni Anluaine, precisely captures the feel of the book…
Is it dark and moody, or what?
Here’s more about the extremely talented Eithne…
Eithne is a freelance digital artist. She comes from the rainy isle of Ireland–not that that’s interesting, but it explains why she’s a bit odd in the head! Her own personal style is based in “unreality,” pushing the boundaries of reality vs. fantasy. Some say she does live in her own wee fantasy land.
She creates her digital art using a mix of manipulation and painting techniques. Clients range from publishing houses and high fashion magazines to motion picture producers and directors. You can see some of her work at:
Tomorrow we’ll interview Keith Melton, author of 9mm Blues, a novel set in the same Nightfall World as his previous books, Blood Vice and Run, Wolf, and find out how it’s very different. And why his next one is even different still! Maybe he’ll even share his Halloween candy.
See you then!
